Born in a small fishing village on the Irish coast to standing on stage with Led Zeppelin as they played Stairway to heaven for the first time, William Mulhall has lived a life as complex and rich as his art.

Painting some of the world’s greatest musicians, Poets, and public figures, William Mulhall has proved his talent for decades with commissions for Led Zeppelin, Bob Dylan, and Michael D Higgins the President of Ireland.

William’s artistic life began from an early age when he would sketch the weather-beaten faces of the local trawler men from his village when they would visit his parents’ shop. The 1970s William graduated from art college in the Isle of Man which led him to screen printing posters for bands including Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin.

Taking residence in some of Dublin’s top Art galleries William has had work stolen in a high profile robbery by organised crime gang targeting precious Art in Dublin, Ireland.

William has an incredible ability to master several styles from Vibrant fashion inspired “Fashion heads” pieces to the deeply emotional Irish landscapes that grip the audience on a spiritual level. William’s preferred style would be his lifelong practised style of Portraits.

William’s ability to capture the unique story of a person’s portrait with remarkable detail has earned him commissions from Boston university in the United States to the title of “Patrick Kavanaghs official portrait painter.”
